Let the scavenger hunt begin!
Are your kids ready to join a district-wide scavenger hunt?! Head to your local library between April 20th and May 22nd to begin. Once there, you can grab a brochure that lists all participating locations and start searching. And what are you searching for? The 2026 PA One Book: “The Great Cookie Kerfuffle” by Jessica Shaw (Author) and Pauline Gregory (Illustrator). A copy of the book will be hidden in each library. Mark your brochure with where you found the book and prepare to explore your next library location! Return to your home library by May 22nd, 2026 to turn in your brochure and be entered to win one of the great prizes!

This scavenger hunt takes place across the entire Pottsville District. You can get started by visiting any of these libraries- and then continuing to explore as many as possible.

Enter to Win
Children who participate and turn in their brochure by May 22 will be entered to win one of these prizes:
- Two participants who visit at least 5 libraries will win a $15 Dunkin gift card.
- Two participants who visit at least 10 libraries will win a $25 Amazon gift card.
- One participant who visits all 17 libraries will win a $50 ticket book for Knoebels.
Prizes will be drawn on May 28th and winners will be contacted directly by the library.
