Accessibility
Though not an expert, my overall view on accessibility and inclusivity at Gordon Park is that efforts were made, but potentially unfinished. It does shine in that it provides an accessible fishing pier for children, an Eagle Scout project led by Evan Houser of Gordon Scout Troop No. 780 in 2019.
- 1 handicap parking space
- Paved path to accessible fishing dock at creek
- Accessible portable toilet near the parking area
- Ramps into playground spaces (though notably no paved paths to the playground spaces and wood chips used as ground cover in those spaces)
- Accessible swing (ramp, no path, wood chips below)
