Since opening its doors in 1961, the Mount Carmel Area Public Library has been dedicated to enriching the lives of residents throughout the Mount Carmel Area School District, including Kulpmont, Marion Heights, and Wilburton. The library holds an impressive collection of more than 52,000 resources, ranging from the latest bestsellers and digital media to local historical treasures like local high school yearbooks and microfilm of area newspapers dating back to 1860. Visitors have access to a variety of modern amenities, including public Mac computers, color printing, and a welcoming space for study or research.
